Healing Symptoms of Chronic IBS
Listed below are personal recommendations designed to help alleviate symptoms of chronic IBS.
Diet
Once I realised I was suffering from problems relating to IBS I made two simple changes: I started to have breakfast every day and I have light dinners of chicken or fish (usually baked in the oven) with steamed vegetables. I very rarely eat red meat these days and I avoid fried (or fatty food) in the evenings.
Acupuncture
Please ensure you are using a clinic where Chinese herbs are given to you. Contrary to Western belief, these are the main elements of your treatment – acupuncture is an ‘add-on’ so to speak. If you are London based, I can recommend the following two practices:
